About the Role

We’re looking for a structured, reliable and proactive Finance Lead to join our core operations team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of both our internal fund finance responsibilities and key operational workflows. You’ll work closely with the team and external advisors, and you’ll be the engine behind the financial integrity and smooth running of our fund.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in audit, accounting, or financial operations, to join an entrepreneurial fund that invests in some of the most exciting companies in Europe while making a tangible impact. Our fund, with fully commercial return targets, was incubated by the Norrsken Foundation, one of the largest global impact platforms. As a member of our small team in a flat structure, your contributions will have an exponential impact on the results we produce.

Your responsibilities will include:

Finance & Fund Admin

- Oversee reporting to Investors and the Swedish Tax Agency

- Manage the audit process, in partnership with our Fund Administrator

- Lead budgeting and cash call planning

- Handle payment approvals and invoice flows

- Oversee the fund’s internal policies and AML work

- Serve as main point of contact to our fund administrator (Permian)

- Support investment processes from a legal and financial structuring perspective

- Help prepare material for upcoming fundraising processes

Operations & Process Development

- Manage contracts and relationships with external suppliers

- Lead banking routines, including payment authorisations and platform admin

- Identify opportunities to automate financial workflows, streamline operations and apply AI or digital tools to boost efficiency

- Champion a resourceful, solutions-driven mindset across the back office

You’re the right fit if you:

- Have +3 years of experience from audit or accounting - a plus if you have worked an additional 1–2 years in financial operations or a startup/VC environment

- Are detail-oriented, analytical, and thrive on keeping complex workflows structured

- Love working with numbers and improving financial workflows

- Are excited by the idea of using AI and automation to build leaner, smarter processes

- Are curious, take initiative and love owning your domain end-to-end

- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

- Hold a degree in business administration, accounting, or finance from a top-tier university

- Are excited about joining a small, fast-moving team and contributing broadly as we scale
