Front of House Associate

Are you a natural problem-solver who enjoys engaging with people and supporting them? Do you enjoy diving in deep end, learning by doing and want to be part of creating a vibrant, welcoming space where founders, funders and change-makers come together to drive positive change? Keep reading!

We’re now looking to strengthen our team at Norrsken House Stockholm with a stellar Front of House Associate! You’ll play a key part in making our community feel supported and that all who visit our House feel welcomed to be part of the solution. You’ll work closely with the full Nordics team in driving day-to-day operations and ensuring Norrsken House Stockholm has the best working environment.

This role requires you to be on site Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00, with flexibility when life requires it.

At Norrsken, we are deeply committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive workspace, as we believe it creates the best opportunity for us to meet the needs of our diverse community and guests. We strongly encourage applications from all groups and communities, particularly women and LGBTQ+ candidates. Research shows that these groups are less likely to apply unless meeting all requirements —if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly, we still want to hear from you. Your unique background, identity and perspective are valued here.

Areas of responsibility, but not limited to:

  • You’ll be at the Front of House, greeting and guiding members and visitors as they enter Norrsken House Stockholm, making sure they have a positive experience.

  • Manage and respond to inquiries and questions from members, ensuring speedy responses through both email, Slack and our member platform.

  • Handle administration and registration of members both joining and leaving, such as setting up access and sending invites to events, ensuring communication is smooth and clear.

  • Work closely with our Community Lead to keep our back-of-house systems (OfficeRND) up to date with member profiles and information.

  • Support our House Operations Lead with day-to-day operations such as handling post, lost and found, meeting rooms and member lockers.

  • You’ll be the go-to-person for members booking and planning events in the house, ensuring they’re supported both pre-, during- and post-events happening during working hours.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you:

  • Thrive in a people-facing role and get energy from helping others. Experience from the hospitality sector is considered a big plus.

  • Have a proactive and solutions-oriented approach - you take initiative, can easily spot ways to improve routines and experiences and show that progress is better than perfect.

  • Are comfortable prioritizing between different tasks, but raise your hand when needing help.

  • Have strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and preferably Swedish. Other languages are considered a plus.

  • Are curious about the tech- and impact space, and wants to be part of a team where innovation and creativity are high and we all roll up our sleeves to get good sh*t done.
