We are looking for a dynamic Community Lead to help us build a thriving community of startups, investors, advisors, mentors, talent and other supporters at Norrsken House Barcelona!
In this role, you will be the face and voice of Norrsken Barcelona to our community and act as a super-connector between our members. The Norrsken House Barcelona is currently home to 230+ teams working on different solutions, all determined to build a business optimized for people and the planet. Being the Community Lead means owning the end to end responsibility for this member community and how we provide tangible value to founders and teams.
Your focus will be to create a highway of support for our member companies to soar. You’ll be responsible for owning our community comms channels, guide them through their onboarding, and develop community events that strengthen the success and growth opportunities for our members.

Examples of areas of responsibility:
Manage the monthly programme of community events & initiatives at Norrsken Barcelona, also to bring forward new ideas and deliver on them.
Manage our community channels including monthly newsletters, Slack, partner event invitations, the Norrsken members portal and other channels.
Lead member onboarding process, coordinate member move-ins with the House team, and host new-joiner initiatives.
Take a proactive approach to establish processes and initiatives to support the growth of our members and ensure they have every opportunity to learn, connect and succeed.
Ensure the highest possible level of member satisfaction and engagement, and collaborate with the House team to improve and enhance our member experience. This includes directing member support requests to the House team and leading bi-annual audits & feedback surveys.
Set a strong workspace culture where our members can focus and get work done, while having the opportunity to connect with each other.
To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you;
Love the social context of being a community builder by having a problem-solving attitude, excellent communication and a lot of outside-the-box thinking in your daily work, whether it’s grand plans for how to level up the startups in our ecosystem or dealing with member issues such as support tickets.
Have 2-3 years experience working in a fast-paced environment with a background in events, marketing, community-building or a role that required strong operational and communication skills.
Should be comfortable working and talking with a diverse range of stakeholders, including suppliers, founders, investors, keynote speakers and members.
Are excited about the opportunity to deliver tangible value, enhancing the experience for members, and can demonstrate an ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
Have strong communications skills, both written & verbal in English and Spanish.

Salary and benefits
This role is based at Norrsken House Barcelona and you’ll report to the Marketing & Communications Manager.
Salary is 28,000€ gross/year, 28 days of vacation/year, and flexible remuneration benefits through Cobee (meals, transportation, nursery, health insurance).
