Impact/Week 2024 Intern

We are looking for a stellar intern to be part of one of Norrsken's most exciting initiatives: Impact/Week.

Impact/Week is an annual summit dedicated to defining the critical problems of our time and unlocking solutions to them. It brings together the world’s greatest thinkers from within business, academia, entrepreneurship, and policy.

This November, we are gathering 1000+ of the world’s top founders, investors and startup enablers for our #6 edition of Impact Week.

We are building an open platform and festival where Norrsken together with our friends and partners unite to curate two days of inspiration, networking, and knowledge-sharing against the backdrop of Europe's largest tech and impact hub, Norrsken House Barcelona.

We’re now looking for a top-tier intern to join our mission of spotlighting the world’s most inspiring and impactful young companies.

Role responsibilities

  • Attendee curation: Assist in curating the list of attendees by reviewing applications and ensuring that we bring together a diverse and impactful group of participants. Maintain and organize a database of attendees, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Coordinate partners and co-creators: Work closely with our VC partners and speakers/co-creators to ensure smooth communication and coordination for their participation in the event.

  • Content curation: Conduct market research to identify potential speakers, panelists, and key contributors who would add value to the event.

  • Event preparation and production: Support with various tasks related to event planning and execution, from scheduling meetings to preparing decks and materials. Coordinate with the event production agency to ensure all logistical details are handled efficiently and effectively.

Characteristics that will make you thrive and succeed

  • You are passionate about making a positive impact in the world, and share our belief that entrepreneurship and innovative technology can be drivers for positive change.

  • You are a curious person who constantly seeks new solutions to old ways.

  • You roll up your sleeves and face challenges without prestige.

  • You are a team player who gets motivation from collaborating with- and supporting your team.

  • You are able to take full ownership of projects and drive them from start to finish.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy engaging with different people.

  • You are able to quickly evaluate and review information and make a decision based on that, weighing different factors and priorities.

Compensation and location

We aim for this opportunity to be integrated into studies, either as an internship part of your program or as part of a thesis, as the internship is unpaid.

The internship is expected to be at 100 % capacity, but can be adjusted towards studies and peak seasons, and will run from June to November 2024.

You’ll need to be based in Barcelona for the duration of the internship.

Previous experience in the startup ecosystem is a plus. The working language of the role is English, so high proficiency is essential, Spanish is a plus.

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as recruitment is ongoing.

Norrsken wishes to attract, recruit and retain a diverse, inclusive and creative workforce to give us the best opportunity to meet the diverse needs of our community. We actively encourage applications from all groups and communities.
