Since Norrsken opened its doors in Kigali in 2022, we've built a landmark hub hosting 1000+ entrepreneurs, working every day to bring new solutions to Rwanda, Africa and the world. From hosting Norrsken Africa Week to dynamic meetups and Founder Fridays, we've fostered a thriving community of founders, investors, and thought leaders. You’ll be part of Norrsken Foundation’s global management team and reporting directly to the CEO. The role requires you to be based in Rwanda and traveling may require from time to time.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Lead Norrsken East Africa strategically and operationally. From ensuring operational excellence in the backbone to pushing the boundaries for innovation and positive impact. Operations include member recruitment, community management, house operation, events, partnerships, marketing and finance.

• Elevate Norrsken House Kigali as the entrepreneurial epicenter of East Africa, launchpad for founders on a journey to build scalable businesses and platform to attract international investments for regional growth.

• Be the thought leader and representative of Norrsken and our mission in the region. Be comfortable representing Norrsken on stage, in stakeholder meetings, in social- and traditional media.

• Drive and initiate strategic partnerships with current and future partners across sectors.

• Make sure we use our resources to create maximum positive impact. Which concretely means to set the budget and manage the P&L for Norrsken in East Africa in a way where great results are achieved while sustainably covering costs.

• Lead and manage the Norrsken East Africa team, coaching them to growth and excel in their roles and as a team.

• Collaborate with leaders in the global Norrsken management team and leaders of regional Norrsken Funds to accelerate each-others work towards a shared mission.

• Curious and quick learner, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid to make decisions.

• A relationship builder, with the strong ability to engage others to join forces with Norrsken on our mission. You’re able to connect on a peer level both with first time entrepreneurs and seasoned business leaders. You have an established network in Rwanda, East Africa and internationally.

• Entrepreneurial and love making things happen. Track record of building something new, be it a startup, new initiatives within a company, social sector or public sector is highly meritorius.

• Have experience from working both in Rwanda and internationally.
