Events Associate

We’re looking for an exceptional Events Associate to take the lead on delivering standout, unique, and highly valuable experiences at Norrsken House Barcelona. As Events Associate, you'll play a pivotal role at the heartbeat of our vibrant ecosystem, overseeing a diverse array of events for internal and external purposes that embody our distinct spirit.

A 10,000 square meter beachfront start-up hub with four floors. The Norrsken Barcelona House is a dynamic workspace including a social club, restaurants, bars, a breathtaking rooftop, conference and workshop rooms, dining and cocktail venues, a fitness center, and more. It is also home to founders, investors, talent, and enablers, who have made solving the world's greatest challenges their business.

Areas of responsibility (but not limited to):

External Events: Coordinate small to medium-sized external events, ensuring a seamless orchestration from booking to operations. For grand events, you will work closely with our Sales & Growth Manager for the negotiations and sales intricacies, allowing you to focus on the art of preparing and executing.

Community-led Events: Take charge of community-led event coordination, working closely with the Community Lead to align with company goals and infuse our events with the essence of our core values and mission. Norrsken members are hard workers all day long; let's have some fun when the laptop shuts!

Strategic Norrsken Events: Crowds of guests, morning raves, partners, stakeholders, providers, DJs, logistics, and more…can you make these epic experiences come to life? Be the maestro behind major Norrsken events, leveraging your expertise in operations and stakeholder management to ensure each event reaches a crescendo of success.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Bilingual proficiency (C1) in Spanish and English for effective communication.

  • 1-2 years of hospitality and/or F&B experience, bringing professionalism and warmth to our community.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.

  • Assertive communication, adept at managing diverse stakeholders.

  • Budget-conscious for efficient planning.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and readiness for unforeseen circumstances.

  • Post-event evaluation: recognize successes, address challenges, and identify improvements.

Salary and benefits:

  • A salary of 22,000€ gross per year.

  • 28 days of holidays per year.
