Motatos is already present in DACH and Denmark and operates under the name Matsmart in Sweden and Finland. The company was founded in 2014 in Stockholm.
About the Role
As a Buying Operations Specialist, you will support our purchasing team closely in all steps along the procurement process and assist our Business Unit with administrative and organizational tasks.You will create purchase orders and manage product master data in our system.You will closely accompany the procurement process and ensure supplier compliance with our standards (including invoice checking).You will act as the link between our Purchasing, Logistics, and Accounting teams and contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of internal administrative processes.
Your Profile
- You are passionate about our mission to reduce food waste and make sustainable consumption accessible.
- You have a degree in business administration or a completed commercial apprenticeship.
- You are well-organized and have a strong affinity for numbers.
- You enjoy communication—not only with internal stakeholders but also with external partners.
- You have a structured and detail-oriented way of working sets you apart.
- You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
- Previous experience in e-commerce is a plus.
