We are now looking for an Accountant to strengthen our Accounting team. In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the day to day accounting throughout all subsidiaries. You will be reporting to the Head of Group Accounting and be part of a team of three.

What you’ll do as Accountant with us ⭐️

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and general accounts.

• Reconcile accounts and financial transactions

• Issue B2B invoices

• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules

• Maintain and reconcile the stock ledger

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.

• Contribute in the month-end and year-end closing processes

• Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process

• Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within the Matsmart group.

To be successful, we believe you need 💼

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices

• To be a professional user of MS Excel or Google Sheets

• Strong written and spoken English and Swedish skills

• 3-5 years of working experience in relevant field
