Who we want to hire:
We are looking for a Junior IT Specialist to join our team in Subotica, Serbia. You have a relevant portfolio, team player mentality, and ideally a marketplace or SAAS background. You’ll provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues, both on-premise and remote. Our platform is used on desktop as well as on mobile.
Who you are:
- At least 2+ years of experience in IT
- Desire to work in a fast-growing start-up
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Desire and openness to continuously learn
More about what you will be doing:
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist in the deployment of new applications and upgrades across on-premise and remote systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates of IT equipment and systems.
- Document IT processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
- Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Use Microsoft Intune to detect, diagnose, and resolve issues.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity of various operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux)
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of network security practices and antivirus programs
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Basic understanding of computer networks, hardware, and software with experience in both on-premise and remote systems
- Knowledge of domain controllers and/or Microsoft Intune
