About this Role and the Impact You Will Have:
As a Program Manager for Material Evolution, you will be at the heart of driving strategic initiatives, ensuring projects align with broader business goals, and enabling the successful delivery of key programmes.
Your role will be instrumental in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and optimising resources to meet both customer and company objectives. This role is crucial for driving innovation, enhancing product performance, and ensuring that our material technologies align with industry standards and market needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Define, scope, and plan programmes in alignment with business goals, creating detailed work plans, setting achievable timelines, and determining resource needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on goals, progress, and expectations.
- Monitor programme budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure efficient use of resources and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Proactively identify, analyse, and manage programme risks and issues, developing contingency plans to mitigate impacts and maintaining clear documentation.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure programme success, regularly updating stakeholders on progress and recommending adjustments as needed to stay on track.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of program outcomes, providing support and training to teams as needed.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Previous experience in programme management within materials science, advanced manufacturing or technology would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- dynamic, solution-focused approach with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and organisational priorities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
