The RoleOur first customer projects become the references everything else is built on. We are looking for a Founding Energy Projects Engineer to ensure each project lands well. You will run engagements with data center operators, developers, and utilities; translate needs into deliverables; coordinate multi-party stakeholders; and ensure solutions work. You own the customer, the project, and the outcome.What the first six months look like: By month six, you run customer projects independently, including at least one multi-party engagement. You run customer workshops on your own, and lessons are captured in a playbook that makes each next engagement faster.What great looks like: Projects delivered on time; customers asking for you by name; counterparties trusting your judgment; a playbook the next hire can run. What You'll Work OnCustomer Projects & Delivery- Run customer projects from kickoff to delivery with real ownership of timeline and outcome- Prepare and run workshops with founders, increasingly on your own- Turn learnings into reusable playbooks and frameworks Stakeholder Coordination- Coordinate grid operators, suppliers, aggregators, planners, and OEMs- Keep multi-party projects moving without formal authority Energy Modelling & Requirements- Build simplified energy and business models for data center sites to make decisions- Gather and maintain requirements on live projects, feed back to product and engineering What We're Looking ForBackground- Strong academic track record in engineering, energy economics, physics, or a related quantitative field Energy Markets- At least five years in the energy sector- Working knowledge of European power markets; understand balancing groups and prequalification Project & Analytical Skills- Proven ability to keep multi-party projects moving without formal authority- Use LLMs/AI tools to model scenarios, test assumptions, and defend results Collaboration & Mindset- Fluent in German and English for technical conversations with network operators- Treat AI tools as force multipliers; meticulous on details Nice to Have- Experience with data centers, industrial loads, or large connection projects- Experience in small, early-stage environments where process didn’t exist yet What We Offer- Competitive Base & Meaningful Equity- Relocation Support- Your Setup: licenses and tools; top-of-the-line hardware- High Autonomy, Zero Bureaucracy- Our Process: three stages, no more than four weeks from first call to offerTo apply, send your CV and tell us about the most complicated project you kept alive, and what you did that others would not have.
