Join LM International as a Finance, Admin & Compliance Manager. In this role you will provide oversight of LM Ukraine’s finances and national administration, support the growth of the country strategy, and contribute to strategic and organisational development as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT).

LM was founded in Sweden in 1958 and is today a global foundation with its Global Office in Stockholm, Sweden. We are present in around 20 countries and work on long-term aid efforts to combat poverty, with a focus on livelihoods and food security, health, education, and water and sanitation. We also operate in fragile states and conflicts and provide emergency humanitarian assistance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Build capacity of Country Office staff and partners on financial procedures and compliance.
- Build collaborative relationships with programme, procurement, and HR teams to support efficient operations.
- Champion anti-corruption, fraud, and PSEAH prevention across the organisation.
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies; prepare risk and compliance reports for the Country Director.
- Ensure compliance with national legal and tax requirements; coordinate with local authorities and auditors as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with all contractual and donor requirements.
- Monitor grants for financial compliance and work closely with the programme department to ensure eligible spending.
- Oversee country office financial operations, including accounting, cash flow, bank reconciliations, payroll, and fund disbursement.
- Liaise with local banks, vendors, and statutory bodies on financial matters.
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in line with national regulations and international accounting standards.
- Lead preparation of annual country budgets and donor project budgets in collaboration with programme and Global teams.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports per internal policies and donor requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, preferably within an international organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, including QuickBooks and Dynamics.
- Language: fluent in Ukrainian and English.
- This position is open to Ukrainian nationals only.
About the Position:
This is a full-time national position based at the LM Ukraine Country Office (Kyiv, with field travel as required), with a start date of 1 November 2025.
