Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced backend developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a scalable backend structure for our app. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology can support our fast growing user base while delivering a seamless and reliable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js code
• Develop scalable backend architecture to support a growing number of users and features
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement new features
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to our tech stack

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience, with a strong focus on Node.js
• Proven experience in building scalable backend systems and APIs
• Strong understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in version control tools such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
