We're seeking a talented and experienced React Native Developer to join our passionate team and take full responsibility for the ongoing development and improvement of our app.
Responsibilities
- Ownership: Take complete ownership of the development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance of our React Native application.
- Technical Leadership: Take part in leading and inspiring a small development team, providing guidance, best practices, and fostering a collaborative, creative and innovative environment.
- Feature Development: Design and implement new features, ensuring an intuitive and engaging user experience.
- Code Quality: Maintain and enhance code quality through continuous integration, code reviews, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges and find creative solutions to meet the specific requirements of our target audience.
- Tech Stack Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in React Native development, recommending and implementing improvements to our tech stack.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in React Native development, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
- Problem-Solving: Adept at analyzing problems, troubleshooting issues, and developing practical solutions.
- Innovative Mindset: Passionate about creating user-friendly and innovative mobile applications, with a focus on understanding the unique needs of our target audience.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Technical knowledge: While a deep experience in RN is a given, we also expect you to have some knowledge in Swift and Kotlin as well as some experience working with a few other programming languages from both back- and front end (e.g Javascript, Typescript, Python, C#, React, JVM languages, Go), public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), (No)SQL and CI/CD Systems.
- Bonus Experience: Integration of passive data sources (Apple Health, Google Fit), and implementation of in-app purchases and subscriptions.
