For more than 40 years and in over 150 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families. Jhpiego is dedicated to improving the health of women and families in developing countries.

Background

The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Jhpiego and with support from the Global Fund, is implementing interventions to strengthen Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH) and improve quality, equity, and people‑centered care across SRMNCAH and HTM programs.

Duration

Up to 12-15 days

Duty Station

Field‑based across selected counties in Liberia

Purpose of the Assignment

Support community‑ and facility‑level data collection for the Gender Barrier Assessment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer surveys and support interviews, and FGDs
  • Ensure informed consent and confidentiality
  • Apply gender ‑ sensitive and culturally appropriate approaches
  • Submit accurate daily data and reports

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Prior experience in community data collection
  • Ability to speak local languages is an asset
