Jhpiego is hiring a Senior/Program Coordinator based at NHM Jaipur (Rajasthan) to support the SPM for strengthening the Maternal and Child Health programs to support the state for achieving SDG targets. The person will report to Senior Program Officer.
Responsibilities
- Program Coordination & Implementation Support
- Provide day-to-day coordination support to the Program Officer for the implementation of priority MNCH interventions.
- Assist in follow-up with districts and implementing units to ensure timely execution of agreed actions.
- Assist the Program Officer / Senior Program Officer in inter-departmental coordination and partner engagement, as required.
- Documentation and tracking
- Maintain documentation and systematic tracking of action points and decisions from program reviews and ensure timely follow-up with districts and relevant divisions.
- Facilitate organization of state and district-level reviews, consultations, trainings, and workshops.
- Assist in preparation of periodic progress updates and summaries for state leadership.
- Support follow-up on implementation gaps identified during reviews.
3. Additional Responsibilities
- Provide operational, coordination, and documentation support to the Program Officer / Senior Program Officer as required.
- Undertake additional responsibilities aligned with program objectives and priorities, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Nursing (GNM) or Post-graduate degree in Public Health, Health Management, Social Sciences or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in public health program coordination, preferably with NHM or state health departments.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with government systems, review mechanisms, and reporting processes is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong program coordination and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple activities and timelines.
- Good understanding of public health programs, preferably MNCH and NHM.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise documentation including review notes, presentations, and meeting records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate with state and district teams.
- Ability to track action points, follow up systematically, and support closure of agreed decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and routine office tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment with attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake field visits as required for program support and coordination.
