Overview
The Office Assistant has primary responsibility to open and close office building, provide tea and/or coffee service, photocopy, bind and run errands.
Reporting Structure:
- Position Reports To: Logistics Officer
- Positions Supervised: None
Responsibilities:
All staff members of Jhpiego, regardless of the level of their responsibilities are expected to;

Contract period - Temporary (three months)
Responsibilities
- Open and close the office building 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) with hours from 7:00 AM until 6:30 PM.
- Ensure all office lights are turned off, and doors are securely locked at the end of the day.
- Maintain general orderliness and readiness of the office environment.
- Assist staff with routine office errands and operational support as needed.
- Support program teams during meetings and trainings by assisting with copying, binding, and preparation of materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading training or meeting materials when required.
- Prepare the serve tea and coffee for staff and visitors during meetings or upon request.
- Ensure meeting rooms are set up and ready when needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with staff and visitors.
- Provide courteous and responsive support to staff across the office.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support office operations.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school education (10th/12th grade or equivalent).
- Previous experience in office support or administrative assistant is an advantage.
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
Abilities/Skills:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams.
Salary: Between 4,070 – 5,171.40 USD per annum.
