Jhpiego is seeking a reliable and analytical MIS Analyst to support its ACHIEVE project reporting, data analysis, and decision-making. The role involves independently managing routine MIS reports, analyzing operational data, and providing actionable insights to senior team members. The role will support quality improvement initiatives, capacity building, and routine monitoring, ensuring full alignment with Government of Sindh priorities, U.S. Department of State (DoS) strategies, and global best practices.
This position requires hands-on experience in data handling and reporting, with regular interaction with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Independently handle data extraction, cleaning, validation, and consolidation.
- Analyze trends, variances, and performance metrics and highlight key insights.
- Support the M&E manager with decision-support analysis and presentations.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and improve existing dashboards and reporting templates.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of reports.
- Assist in process improvement and basic automation of MIS and reporting workflows.
- Maintain proper documentation of reports, KPIs, and data sources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree will be preferred.
- At least 6-7 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas).
- Good working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation.
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good time management and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau / other BI tools.
- Basic scripting or automation exposure (Python, VBA, etc.)
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Familiarity with operational KPIs and management reporting.
