We're on a mission to make it affordable and convenient to get any item, anywhere, without needing to buy it. Hygglo is Europe's largest peer-to-peer rental platform, with over one million rentals across seven countries. By connecting people who own things with people who need them, we're building a smarter way of consuming — one that reduces waste, saves money and makes life easier.

The role

In this fullstack role, the hardest part isn't writing code. AI agents do much of that, so your time goes to understanding the problem, coordinating with product and customer support, weighing trade-offs, and reviewing what gets built before it reaches users.

You'll work across mobile, web and backend on real problems: marketplace quality, payments, trust and safety, and scaling across countries.

What we're looking for

• Good judgment: you weigh trade-offs, make a call and can explain why.

• You communicate clearly and keep others in the loop — coordination is a big part of the job.

• Product sense: you care about what gets built, and for whom.

• Several years of experience building and shipping web or mobile products, with solid TypeScript/JavaScript, React and Node.js.

• You're as comfortable reviewing code as writing it.

Also valuable

• SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Breaking work down into clear specs and parallel tasks.

• AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor or similar).

• Expo and app distribution, payments (e.g. Stripe), fraud detection, or deep backend and database expertise.

• Fluent Swedish is a plus.
