The Role:

As CFO, you will join the management team and play a crucial role in leading our financial operations and strategy as we scale our impact. You’ll contribute to key strategic decisions and ensure that we’re financially prepared to continue driving positive environmental and social change. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who is passionate about using their skills to make a difference in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Manage and optimize accounting processes, including payments, invoicing, and reconciliations across multiple markets.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the management team and board.
• Work closely with the leadership team to support key strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations in all operating countries.
• Support fundraising activities and maintain investor communications.
• Provide quarterly financial reports to investors.

About You:

• 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a mid-level role.
• Minimum of a bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
• ACCA or ICAEW qualified (or a similar internationally recognized accounting qualification).
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals, particularly with international and multi-currency operations.
• Comfortable with financial systems and technology (experience with international accounting software and ERP platforms is a plus).
• Eager to grow into a leadership role and contribute to the company’s strategic direction.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• A hands-on approach, willing to balance both high-level strategy and day-to-day finance tasks.
