Job Description

🌱 About us

Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management. In 2026, Greenly joined forces with the Nordic-founded company Normative.

Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting, proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120. Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts. 💚

More than 4,000 companies in 30+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.

We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities, based in Paris, Stockholm, London, Barcelona, and New York. 🌎

To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform. Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management.

🌱 Our Values

  • Ambition for climate: Minimize GHG emissions, maximize climate impact

  • Deliver with agility: Work in small increments: fail fast, learn fast, win fast

  • Own your opportunities: Achieve outstanding results by showing initiative and accountability

  • Feedback paves the way: Succeed as a team by helping others progress

  • Be one Team: Everyone is included and needed - work together with transparency and respect

🌱 About the role

At Greenly, convincing as many organizations as possible that they can become actors of the energy transition is at the heart of our mission. 💚

As an Account Executive, you will help expand Greenly’s footprint across the Nordic market, targeting mid-market companies (250–5,000 employees) and large corporates navigating carbon management and regulatory compliance (CSRD and others).

This role is a hunter-closer position, responsible for managing complex B2B SaaS sales cycles, from self-generated leads to closing deals with C-level stakeholders and sustainability leaders. 🤝

Reporting to our Sales Director, you will collaborate closely with the SDR team and other Account Executives while building your pipeline.

🌱 Your missions

💡 Understand client challenges around carbon footprint management, ESG strategy, and regulatory compliance

🚀 Lead consultative sales cycles, from discovery and demo to negotiation and closing

🤝 Build long-term relationships with C-level executives, sustainability leaders, and finance stakeholders

📈 Build and manage a healthy pipeline, combining SDR-generated leads and self-generated opportunities

📊 Track performance through CRM, maintain accurate forecasts, and refine your sales strategy

🌍 Contribute to establishing Greenly as the go-to carbon management platform in international markets

🌱 Skills to succeed

You are a great fit if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales: closing or fully cycle 🤝

  • Experience with outbound prospecting or business development

  • Have a proven track record of closing complex deals and managing long sales cycles

  • Are quasi-native in Swedish or Danish, and fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Excel at consultative selling, negotiation, and building partnerships with senior stakeholders

  • Are familiar with structured sales methodologies such as SPIN and MEDDICC, and have experience applying them throughout the sales cycle 🔗

  • Thrive in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments

  • Are highly autonomous, organized, and results-driven 🔭

  • Bring strong listening, storytelling, and persuasion skills

  • Are comfortable working with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce

  • Have a strong interest in climate, ESG, or the energy transition 🌱

Nice to have:

  • Experience with sales intelligence tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, Lusha)

  • Fluency in French or another European language 💬

🌱 Perks & benefits

  • 💰 Yearly compensation of 945k SEK (total package)

  • 📍 Beautiful offices in the heart of Stockholm

  • 🏠 Flexible remote work options

  • ⚒️ Top-notch tools to help you do your best work

  • 🏝️ 30 days/year of paid vacation + up to 2 additional days off

  • 🤝 Pension and parental leave

  • 💆🏼‍♀️ 5,000 SEK wellness allowance (friskvårdsbidrag) + 1 wellness hour per week

  • 💚 A culture of autonomy, transparency, and collaboration — with a team of highly talented, committed people

🌱 The recruitment process

  • Hiring Manager interview with Luc

  • Case interview with Luc and Pierre, VP Sales

  • Provide us with 2 references to complete the recruitment process

  • We welcome you during our onboarding week! 🥳

We’re a team shaped by diverse experiences and ideas. If you’re excited about the role but don’t match every requirement, we still encourage you to apply — you may be the right person for the team. 🙏
