Join the Pioneers

We’re looking for a Customer Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor to regulated customers, including the national defense sector. You will own the technical customer relationship, guide customers through their adoption of evroc’s cloud services, and help keep mission-critical environments secure, resilient, and operationally healthy.

As a cloud generalist, you’ll work across areas such as compute, storage, networking, databases, security, Kubernetes, and AI/ML. You’ll combine proactive technical guidance with hands-on problem-solving, while acting as the voice of the customer within evroc.

This is a customer-facing technical role that requires strong judgment, broad cloud expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence. Travel to customer sites may be required.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Own the technical support relationship for regulated and defense-sector customers, serving as their trusted technical advisor and advocate within evroc.

  • Conduct operational readiness assessments for critical events such as infrastructure migrations, application launches, and scaling activities.

  • Identify technical and operational risks, recommend architecture improvements, and help customers maintain business continuity.

  • Advise customers on security, resilience, scalability, performance, and operational best practices.

  • Solve complex operational and system-design challenges in close collaboration with customers and evroc’s engineering teams.

  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, communicating feedback, feature requests, and field-identified issues to product and engineering teams.

  • Develop reusable technical guidance, architecture reviews, and runbooks that strengthen the wider Customer Engineering organization.

Skills We Value

  • Customer-facing experience in technical engineering, cloud architecture, operations, support, or consulting.

  • Broad knowledge of distributed systems and hands-on experience across areas such as compute, storage, networking, databases, DevOps, security, or application development.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and AI/ML workloads.

  • Experience applying best practices for security, resilience, scalability, availability, and performance.

  • The ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and build trust with both technical teams and senior decision-makers.

  • Experience supporting mission-critical workloads or working with defense, government, public-sector, or other regulated customers is highly valued.

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Eligibility and willingness to successfully complete the required security assessment.
