We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build evroc’s Marketplace, the platform that enables third-party providers to integrate, distribute, and operate services directly within evroc’s cloud. Think of it as the foundation of an app-store ecosystem for cloud infrastructure, built with security, scalability, and European sovereignty at its core.

This is a greenfield opportunity where you’ll work on the core control plane, APIs, and extension models that power the Marketplace. You’ll play a key role in shaping how integrations are built, secured, operated, and scaled across evroc’s cloud services.

What You’ll Tackle

• Design and build control-plane services in Golang for provisioning, lifecycle management, and access control.

• Define and evolve internal and external API contracts with a strong focus on versioning and backward compatibility.

• Build secure and extensible integration and plugin models for third-party services.

• Collaborate with product, platform, and billing teams on usage tracking, licensing, and monetization flows.

• Architect multitenant systems with strong isolation, quotas, rate-limiting, and fine-grained authorization.

• Work closely with evroc’s platform and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration across evroc’s cloud services.

• Contribute to high engineering standards around code quality, documentation, observability, and operability.

• Design and build new Marketplace functionality from scratch, from early architecture decisions to production-ready services.

• Work with evroc partners to define Marketplace requirements.

Skills We Value

• Strong production experience with Golang.

• Deep understanding of API design, control-plane architectures, and service-oriented systems.

• Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures.

• Solid background in multitenancy, authentication/authorization, and secure system design.

• Experience designing modular, extensible systems and integration frameworks.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including databases, caching, and messaging.

• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure tooling is a plus.

• Experience with marketplaces, billing, or usage-based systems is a plus.
