We’re looking for a visionary Head of Design to lead the engineering and design function for evroc’s hyperscale data centre projects.

You will define our design philosophy, guide multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensure every facility meets the highest standards of performance, safety, sustainability and operability.

This is an opportunity to shape the technical blueprint of Europe’s sovereign cloud, influencing early design decisions that will impact millions of users.

What You’ll Tackle

• Lead and grow evroc’s multidisciplinary engineering and design team.
• Define data centre design standards, technical requirements, and engineering guidelines across all disciplines.
• Manage engineering consultancies, equipment vendors, and suppliers throughout the design process.
• Specify and customize major equipment categories, including IT racks, cooling and electrical systems.
• Ensure design decisions support constructability, commissioning, long-term operability and sustainability.
• Provide engineering input for tender packs and procurement.
• Establish engineering processes, documentation structures and review frameworks to support scalable expansion.

Skills We Value

• Engineering degree
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience delivering data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of IT rack/server technology and industry trends.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with construction, operations, commissioning and procurement teams.
