This is a rare opportunity to influence the technical foundation of a European hyperscaler— at the very beginning.

As an AI Systems Engineer at evroc, you will be at the center of developing and operating our AI platform services, providing evroc’s customers/users with a superior experience, ranging from inference-as-a-service to infrastructure for large-scale training.

Working with the latest Nvidia GPU hardware and open-source AI technologies, you’ll ensure our platform is secure, resource efficient, and performant. evroc's AI services bring European sovereignty, data privacy, and sustainability to AI application developers.

You will work in close collaboration with infrastructure, platform, and storage teams, across our development hubs in Stockholm, Sophia Antipolis (France), and London.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Designing, building, and maintaining a production platform for AI inference and training, based on Kubernetes.
  • Implementing multi-tenancy in GPU-accelerated platforms, ensuring efficient resource sharing, workload isolation, and scheduling.
  • Optimizing resource utilization and performance of AI inference and training workloads.
  • Monitoring and metrics collection for real-time control and accounting.
  • Security in all aspects, from user authentication to GPU attestation.

Skills We Value

  • Operating system fundamentals, e.g., containerization, virtualization, and device drivers, including SR-IOV and RDMA.
  • Operational experience with Kubernetes.
  • GPU low-level software stack, e.g., Nvidia CUDA, MIG, GPU Operator, DCGM, and GPU interconnect software.
  • AI/ML frameworks and runtimes, e.g., vLLM and PyTorch.
  • Distributed systems fundamentals, including networking, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Software development in programming languages such as Golang, Rust, and Python.
  • Security technologies, e.g. TPM, TEE, and Confidential Computing.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively address complex platform engineering challenges.
