Guiding Technological Excellence
At the outset of our journey, we're not just building software; we're laying the groundwork for our technology solutions and how we’ll operate as an engineering team. As we expand, the organisation of our teams and the specialisation into product areas hinge on these formative decisions. As an Engineering Manager at evroc, your role extends beyond the traditional confines of management. You'll be the linchpin that connects our engineering vision with execution. Your guidance ensures that our teams not only achieve their goals but also grow, innovate, and evolve in the process. This isn’t just a job; it's a chance to leave an indelible mark on our technology, teams, culture, and ethos.
What You'll Drive
- People Development: Mentor, guide, and grow the engineers under your leadership, ensuring career growth and personal development.
- Technical Strategy: Collaborate with teams and tech leads to streamline the integration of open-source components and mould our evolving tech stack.
- Operational Excellence: Implement processes and best practices to enhance efficiency, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborative Decision-Making: Regularly convene with cross-functional teams, defining the roadmap for software component development in line with evroc’s priorities.
- Culture & Vision: Actively shape our engineering culture by upholding our values, and inspiring the team towards technical excellence.
Qualities We Seek
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and growing teams of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong background in distributed systems, Linux systems engineering, and infrastructure orchestration tools. Strong familiarity with the European technology sector.
- Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions quickly, balancing the needs of the business and the team.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary together with an equity package to attract the best. Whether it’s the cosmopolitan allure of London, the vibrant Stockholm, or the Mediterranean charm of Sophia Antipolis, you’re poised for an inspiring work environment and a captivating local culture!
At evroc, diversity is our strength. We champion an inclusive environment where every background—ethnicity, age, gender identity, beliefs, and culture—is celebrated.
