About Enode

The world’s energy use is changing - but the shift to renewables is too slow. Unlocking it requires smarter, more connected solutions.

Enode’s platform powers the next generation of green energy apps by connecting and optimizing the world’s energy devices through our APIs. From electric vehicles to heat pumps, we enable flexible demand that prioritises renewable energy.

We work with the world’s leading energy companies and green tech innovators, giving them instant access to over 250M+ consumers - and the ability to help millions of people use energy more sustainably.

With the urgent need to decarbonise, there has never been a more critical time for Enode. That’s why we’re backed by leading investors like Y Combinator, Lowercarbon Capital, and Creandum.

Yet, we’re just getting started - and we’re looking for builders and innovators to join our mission-driven, passionate team.

What we’re looking for

Your mission is to build Enode’s Flex product from the ground up, turning flexible energy assets into a scalable, market-ready product that delivers real commercial value for our customers.

Flex sits at the heart of Enode’s ambition: enabling customers to activate, optimize, and monetize flexibility across millions of distributed energy assets. As Product Manager for Flex, you will take an early-stage product from concept to market adoption, shaping how energy companies participate in flexibility markets and how consumers contribute to a decarbonized grid.

This is a true 0→1 role. You will work in highly ambiguous problem spaces, define the product’s value proposition, and translate regulatory, technical, and market complexity into a coherent B2B SaaS product that customers can rely on for mission-critical operations.

You will collaborate closely with:

  • Engineering leadership and engineers building Flex capabilities

  • Fellow PMs across Connect and Experience

  • Commercial, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams

  • External customers, partners, and market operators

This team thrives when product, engineering, and commercial functions are tightly aligned. We value clarity, learning velocity, and shared ownership, and you will play a central role in establishing these rhythms for the Flex product.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will own the vision, strategy, and end-to-end execution of Enode’s Flex product. Specifically, you will:

Own the Flex product vision and strategy

  • Define the long-term vision for Enode’s Flex offering, from early pilots to scalable, repeatable product.

  • Translate flexibility market dynamics (DSOs, aggregators, incentives, constraints) into clear product strategy and roadmap.

  • Make deliberate trade-offs between speed, scalability, and customer value in an evolving market.

Evolve and scale the Flex product

  • Lead discovery in complex and evolving problem spaces, deepening our understanding of customer needs as Flex expands across new markets, use cases, and regulatory contexts.

  • Partner closely with design and engineering to shape, test, and iterate on product capabilities that balance speed, reliability, and long-term scalability.

  • Drive customer adoption and value realization by refining core Flex workflows, supporting new use cases, and enabling successful commercial rollouts with existing and new customers.

Build a market-ready B2B SaaS product

  • Shape Flex into a product customers can operationalize, not just experiment with.

  • Define APIs, workflows, and abstractions that allow customers to activate and manage flexibility at scale.

  • Ensure the product is reliable, explainable, and trusted for revenue-generating use cases.

Treat flexibility as a system, not a feature

  • Design for end-to-end flows: asset enrollment, dispatch, optimization, settlement, and reporting.

  • Balance competing constraints across consumers, customers, grid operators, and regulators.

  • Build feedback loops that improve performance over time.

Be the voice of the customer and the market

  • Develop deep empathy for energy companies building flexibility offerings under real-world constraints.

  • Maintain close relationships with early Flex customers and partners, using their feedback to guide product decisions.

  • Act as Enode’s internal expert on flexibility use cases, market requirements, and customer pain points.

Drive cross-functional alignment

  • Work closely with Commercial and Customer Success to ensure Flex delivers measurable customer value.

  • Collaborate with Connect and Experience teams to ensure Flex integrates seamlessly into the broader Enode platform.

  • Align stakeholders around clear product goals, success metrics, and launch criteria.

This role will be right for you if:

You are a senior product manager who thrives in complex, evolving product environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into clear, scalable solutions.

At Enode, we don’t just hire for skills; we hire for how you apply them:

  • You are comfortable operating without a playbook and enjoy creating one.

  • You can translate regulatory, technical, and market complexity into products customers actually want to use.

  • You think in systems and incentives, not just features and backlogs.

  • You care deeply about outcomes – customer value, adoption, and real-world impact on the energy system.

  • You see product as the connective tissue between engineering, commercial teams, and the market.

You bring

  • Experience: Strong B2B SaaS product management experience, with a proven track record of taking products from 0→1 and 1→100.

  • Product discovery expertise: Comfort leading customer discovery, validation, and experimentation in ambiguous domains.

  • Technical literacy: Ability to work closely with engineers on APIs, data flows, and complex systems.

  • Systems thinking: Experience building products that operate across multiple stakeholders and constraints.

What we offer:

  • Opportunity to join and impact an early-stage climate tech startup with global aspirations as we scale.

  • A mission-driven, fun and caring environment with high drive and ambition.

  • Competitive compensation, including a very attractive employee option program - you’re part of our journey.

  • Remote-first in Europe, with the option of attending an office in Oslo or receiving a co-working pass on demand.

  • Three annual off-sites to connect with the team in exciting & fun places.

  • Flexible, human-first culture.

  • Stipend for setting up your home office.

A few things to note:

  • Enode is an equal opportunities employer. Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.
