Job Description

Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative Analytics Engineer to join our growing Analytics Platform team. As our second hire in this role, you will partner closely with our existing Analytics Engineer, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to scale our data foundations and elevate our analytics practices.

You won’t just be writing code; you will be a key player in shaping our data architecture, championing data literacy, and empowering the transport industry to go electric through simple, beautiful, and highly effective data solutions.

You will:

  • Anticipate business needs: Work proactively with stakeholders to not just understand, but predict their future needs in terms of datasets and dashboards.
  • Scale our data foundations: Design robust data models and build reliable pipelines alongside our engineering teams.
  • Drive business insights: Define and implement key metrics to assess business performance and enhance our analytics-driven products.
  • Optimize our stack: Continuously improve our analytics frameworks, BI tools, and data documentation.
  • Champion data literacy: Educate colleagues across the organization on data modeling and BI tooling to empower them to do their jobs more efficiently.

We expect you to have:

  • Passion for high data quality and experience scaling analytics workflows.
  • Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and version control (Git).
  • Proficiency in modern data warehousing and orchestration. Our core stack is BigQuery, dbt, and Dagster - you don't need to be a day-one expert in these exact tools, but you must have solid experience with them or their direct equivalents.
  • Solid end-to-end development experience with BI tools. We use Looker, but expertise in similar tools (like Tableau or Qlik Sense) is perfectly fine.
  • A proven ability to thrive in both collaborative team settings and independent work.

Ideally, You Also Bring:

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform).
  • Experience with a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
  • A strong eye for UI/UX design in dashboards and data visualization.
  • Solid business acumen, financial literacy, and an understanding of predictive modeling.

This is a full-time position based anywhere in Stockholm or Gothenburg. You will be part of a truly diverse, high performing team with a common passion for sustainability and making things happen in an innovative way. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually.

At Einride, we are innovators, building solutions the world has never seen before – but urgently needs. That’s why we take action, and it’s why we are always eager to be challenged. We know that our best innovations come from having a diverse mix of people, including those of different experiences, career paths, and walks of life. By coming together and sharing our perspectives openly – by disagreeing, discussing, and committing – we deliver greater impact.

Please note: Our recruitment process includes an online candidate assessment via Alva Labs and a standard background check prior to employment.
