Product Manager
Einride
Product
Stockholm, Sweden
Job Description
Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.
Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our transport planning software team building the future of intelligent movement. In this role, you will work closely with operations, commercial, design and engineering teams to deploy, scale and improve our electric transport planning products in our intelligent freight management platform, Saga.
The role entails interacting with transport planners, operations managers, and carrier teams to deeply understand the challenges of planning and managing electric fleets for large-scale, complex freight operations. This understanding should then be translated into a better planning software product by working alongside our engineering teams to drive a roadmap of improvements that make the daily work of our users faster, more reliable, and increasingly intelligent.
This role requires experience in product management or a background in operations or logistics with a strong desire to move into product as well as an understanding of the road freight and logistics industry, strong product acumen and the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver products that delight our customers and achieve business goals.
You will:
- Own the product deployment lifecycle end-to-end. Lead the onboarding of new deployments to the planning software: gather requirements, improve operating models, coordinate training, manage go-live readiness and hypercare. Ensure every new product deployment reaches full operational adoption and maintain a clear picture of per-deployment adoption and operational health.
- Run regular user research sessions with transport planners. Build a deep operational understanding of how electric fleet planning works across different customer contexts and translate pain points into structured product improvements.
- Tactical product development. Drive discovery for product initiatives to enhance the user experience and decision intelligence of the product, run prioritisation discussions with engineering, and ship improvements.
- Support system integration decisions and management. Together with the Product and Engineering teams determine if, when and how to integrate to 3rd party systems, develop guidelines and principles for such decisions and streamline implementation processes.
- Bring logistics industry experience to ensure our products address real needs and explore how new technologies such as AI will help staying ahead of market trends and competitor activities.
We're looking for:
- A system thinker that thrives in the complexity of electric road freight and advanced planning software systems.
- Someone with either product management experience or a background in logistics with a strong desire to move into product.
- Experience in logistics technology or road freight, with a background in electric transportation being a bonus.
- Technically literate: comfortable working with software systems, APIs, and data pipelines at a conceptual level such that you can efficiently discuss integration constraints with engineers and reason about what's technically feasible.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision making, experience working with ML/AI as a bonus.
This is a full-time position based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually.
