Einride is growing and we are looking for a Connected Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer to join our Tech organization. You will ensure our vehicles have reliable connection to our cloud services and be responsible for all things related to such as cloud infrastructure, networking, software systems and calibrations.
You will:
- Deploy and manage the cloud-side network infrastructure to support secure V2X communication, telematics data ingestion and Over-the-Air (OTA) update services.
- Architect and maintain secure OTA update strategies (experience with Mender is a plus) for deploying software and firmware to distributed ECUs, leveraging automation frameworks (Terraform, SaltStack).
- Ensure our vehicles have reliable connection to our cloud services.
- Deploy infrastructure as code to automate deployments.
We expect you to have:
- Relevant experience in following Cloud infrastructure:
- Salt master instances (Maintenance (security updates), Secret management).
- VPN instances (Maintenance (security updates), Certificate authority (CA) configuration, OpenVPN configuration (client + server), Wireguard configuration (client + server)). - Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, networking components and tools.
- Self-starter capable of delivering results independently.
Nice to have:
- Experience with automation frameworks (Saltstack, Terraform).
- Knowledge in networking in GCP and understanding of cloud environments.
- Wireless communication (5G, LTE, Wifi, 802.11r).
- Network routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VRF, 802.1q).
- Experience monitoring network performance/availability and performing ad hoc analysis.
- Linux System Administrator knowledge.
