Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.
Your mission when joining the procurement team at Einride will be to shape our global procurement strategy, work hand-in-hand with leaders across Einride to understand our unique value proposition and business needs.
You will
Play a crucial role in building the organizational capabilities necessary to execute our vision, ensuring we're always developing fit-for-purpose solutions and driving our Electric Mobility strategy forward. This means leading the charge on everything from developing partnerships to overseeing major cost improvement initiatives across our supply network. Here's a breakdown of what you'll focus on:
- Develop global procurement & category strategies: Oversee procurement for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicles and Trailers.
- Build a robust supply network: Create sustainable, scalable, and high-performing partnerships for the electric and autonomous transport landscape.
- Manage Source-to-Contract activities: Lead supplier identification, selection, negotiation, and contract lifecycle.
- Drive supplier performance: Collaborate with Operations and Finance to maximize value creation and capture.
- Lead cost improvement initiatives: Spearhead major Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) projects and tenders.
- Cultivate key relationships: Build strong connections with internal and external stakeholders for effective strategy execution.
We expect you to:
Be a strategic and hands-on leader with extensive industry experience in complex global procurement. You'll bring a proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver tangible results. Beyond that, you'll possess proven leadership skills that foster collaboration and enable you to lead cross-functional teams globally. To be successful in this role we also believe that you:

This is a full-time position based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.
