About the role
The Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer is responsible for helping development teams understand what to test and how to test it efficiently, for both new and existing functionality. The role involves taking ownership of test planning, working with the V&V strategy, and reviewing specifications. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and have a technical background, preferably within autonomous technology.
You will
- Review verification specifications for quality and completeness.
- Drive and plan required test activities in all relevant test environments, from SIL to test track.
- Work with development teams to develop high-quality verification content.
- Provide input to the strategic V&V development plan.
- Develop and implement tooling for evidence gathering that requirements are fulfilled.
- Summarize and report on progress and results from release testing activities.
We expect you to
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in verification and validation of software-controlled systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and efficient written and spoken communication.
- Determined individual with a good analytical mind who enjoys teamwork.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with virtual verification methods (SIL, HIL, simulation).
- Good understanding of applying different verification methods to increase efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) or Autonomous Driving (AD).
- More experience than only within software testing in another domain.
It is beneficial if you
- Have worked with data analysis, Machine Learning, and programming.
- Possess communication skills in Swedish.
