Einride

Einride

Stockholm, Sweden · Gothenburg, Sweden
Posted on Apr 23, 2025
Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.
Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.
As a Summer Intern at Einride, you'll be joining a top talent team of ambitious, creative, kind-hearted people who challenge conventional thinking, think big, and aim for zero emissions.

This Summer we are looking for interns in the following areas:

  • Customer Operations: Operations EMEA includes a central team and four regional teams focused on delivering efficient electric transport solutions. As an intern, you’ll support daily operations, collaborate with carriers and customers, and contribute to planning and central initiatives.
  • Fleet Strategy & Deployment: Fleet Management & Deployment ensures the smooth operation and timely deployment of new vehicles. As an intern, you'll contribute your skills in data analytics (e.g., SQL) and/or project management to support the team’s efforts.
  • Solutions EMEA: Solutions EMEA analyzes transport demand to create cost-efficient electrification plans for customers. As an intern, you’ll support cross-functional teams by driving key initiatives, conducting pre-studies, analyzing roadmaps, and researching market conditions.
  • Team Simulation: Team Simulation builds tools and models to test autonomous vehicles in virtual environments. As an intern you’ll help enable the future of autonomous transport and work on areas like map creation, improving model accuracy, and supporting simulation infrastructure.
  • Team Remote Operate: Remote Operate focuses on enabling safe and efficient remote operation of autonomous vehicles. As an intern, you'll help with either designing reliable, safety-critical electronic systems or helping systems detect and interpret visuals from images and video.
  • Team Motion Planning & Control: Team Motion Planning & Control develops the decision-making software that guides our autonomous trucks safely and efficiently. This includes algorithms for pathfinding, speed planning, and collision avoidance using real-time localization and perception data.
  • Team Perception & Machine Learning: The Perception team processes data from sensors like lidars and radars to understand the vehicle’s surroundings, including road surfaces, obstacles, and their movement. As an intern, you’ll help improve the quality and performance of the software that interprets this sensor data.
  • Communications: Communications covers both external and internal messaging - from media outreach and social media content to company announcements and employee engagement. As an intern, you’ll help craft key messages, post on social media and contribute to campaigns that connect with audiences inside and out.
  • CEO Office: Work at the strategic engine room of the company alongside the CEO and leadership team. Combining sharp thinking with hands-on execution, the team drives the company’s most important initiatives and decisions. As an intern, you’ll help drive key initiatives through market research, competitor analysis, and hands-on project work.
  • Security: The security team works in 2 dimensions; earning the highest level of trust in terms of how we safeguard all information (intellectual property, customer and business data) towards all our external and internal stakeholders (customers, employees, regulators & auditors) as well as protecting this information by helping to build products that are secure by default.

Internship requirements:

  • Ongoing university studies in relevant field for the role you are applying for
  • At least 1 semester remaining until graduating from your bachelor or master studies.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Eligible for work in Sweden
  • You are based in Stockholm or Gothenburg
  • Available for work between June 9th and August 22nd
The internship will be full time (40 hours per week) during the summer and you will be compensated accordingly. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are held continuously.
