Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.
Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.
We are now looking for a new colleague to be part of our exciting journey towards world-leading autonomous transportation. As part of the Human Factors & HMI team at Einride, you will bring the human centered approach in the development of our products and services. This includes being involved in the design and development of both Einride’s vehicles and remote operation centers, having a unique opportunity to influence the present and future of electric, autonomous transportation.

What you'll do:

  • Plan, conduct and present Human Factors research and testing that contributes to Einride´s strategy and product development
  • Together with team members, be responsible for Einride’s Human Factors strategy and roadmap
  • Bringing your own perspective, grounded in human factors principles, focusing on user needs, interactions and cognition in complex user environments
  • In close collaboration with Tech, Safety, and Design teams, create safe, intuitive and efficient solutions for autonomous and remote operations
  • Be responsible for national and international research project collaborations

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience of working with Human Factors and HMI in safety-critical industries such as automotive, aviation, maritime, or process control
  • Previous experience of working with remote operations and automation
  • Minimum Master’s degree within cognitive sciences, HMI, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of working with research in a product development context
  • Experience of national or international collaborative research projects
  • Experience of cross-team collaboration, working both with Design/UX, Safety and Tech
At Einride, we are innovators, building solutions the world has never seen before – but urgently needs. That’s why we take action, and it’s why we are always eager to be challenged. We know that our best innovations come from having a diverse mix of people, including those of different experiences, career paths, and walks of life. By coming together and sharing our perspectives openly – by disagreeing, discussing, and committing – we deliver greater impact.
