Job Description

As a People Operations Intern based in Barcelona, your mission will be to learn and support the People Operations team in assisting EcoVadis professionals across Southern Europe (Spain, France, and Italy), with a main focus on Spain. This position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources, bringing operational efficiency and a proactive attitude to ensure an excellent employee experience. You will be a key support in fostering a culture of support, inclusion, and sustainability.

The internship will last for 4 months.

During your internship, your core responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Employee Journey Support (Onboarding to Offboarding):

  • Assist the team in preparing employment contracts, addendums, and lifecycle documentation.
  • Support the collection of required onboarding paperwork and facilitate coordination with IT for system accesses and equipment management.
  • Help prepare exit (offboarding) processes, ensuring the integrity of employee files.

Employee Support & Benefits:

  • Collaborate as a first point of contact to resolve daily employee inquiries regarding local policies, benefits, and workplace guidelines.
  • Help communicate and promote EcoVadis benefits and wellness programs.

HR Operations:

  • Support payroll specialists and external providers in the collection and structuring of data (sick leaves, variables, contract changes).
  • Maintain the accuracy and quality of data in our HRIS (Workday) under strict compliance standards (GDPR).
  • Assist in managing documentation for global mobility (visas and work permits).

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently studying Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Attitude: Passion for people management, empathy, and a strong eagerness to learn. We are looking for someone with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work in an international environment.
  • Operational Precision: Meticulous attention to detail, understanding the importance of data accuracy (Workday) and confidentiality.
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English (essential); French is a bonus.
  • Skills: High adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to working in a dynamic, growing environment.

  • Office location: Glòries, Barcelona
  • Office attendance is expected
  • Convention (University agreement) is mandatory
    • You must be living and studying in the location advertised
