About the Role
As development engineer at CLER, you will support our mission to bring revolutionary air purification technology to the world.

As an Automation Engineer, you will be a key person in our team. You will:

• Develop and implement control systems for our environmental technology products.

• Work with PLC programming, sensors and communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, BACnet).

• Participate in the design and testing of prototypes.

• Ensure that the solutions meet international standards (EN, ISO, CE).

• Contribute to the documentation, installation and verification of systems.

What you will be doing

• Develop and design the design for even better product market fit in existing verticals

• Develop control systems for sensors, actuators, and process equipment

• Adjust the cleaning technology for new market areas

• Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to industrialize solutions for manufacturing.

• Support product launches by creating launch materials, installation and application guidelines.

• Develop monitoring and control system.

• Support the adaptation of the product for different markets as we expand globally.

• Align content and messaging with marketing and business goals

Whom are we looking for

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.

  • 1-3 years of experience in product development, in design, simulation and SW. Experience from manufacturing and ventilation design is an extra merit.

  • Have experience in automation, control systems or industrial IT.

  • Is comfortable with both hardware and software.

  • Ability to work hands-on with prototypes, wiring, and system integration.

  • Has an interest in environmental technology and sustainable development.

  • Are solution-oriented, curious and thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.

  • Strong design skills with hands-on experience in CAD and CFD, and experience of physical testing.

  • Curious and analytical mindset with ability to conduct research and translate insights into action.

  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English is required. Additional languages are highly valued.

  • Self-starter mentality with eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
