We are looking for a colleague to join CELLINK HQ in Kallebäck, Gothenburg for a 8 month parental leave cover, with start as soon as possible.

About the role

As a Purchasing associate, you are responsible for the timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services. You will manage purchase orders, support supplier relationships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to meet operational and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders in the ERP system in accordance with internal procedures.
• Handle internal purchase order requests
• Ensure timely order confirmations and deliveries.
• Act as the primary operational contact for assigned suppliers.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and contribute to achieving purchasing targets and KPIs.
• Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment based on agreed parameters and forecasts.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and planning functions to ensure material availability.
• Update and maintain ERP master data related to suppliers and procurement settings

Qualifications and work experience

• Relevant education within purchasing, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a Technical Buyer/Purchaser position

Knowledge and skills

• Good proficiency in Excel for data analysis, quotation comparisons, cost tracking, and reporting (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, and structured data handling).
• Experience working with ERP systems to create and manage purchase orders and supplier data. Preferably experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• B driving license

You manage priorities well, communicate clearly with both suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy in systems and data. By being solution-oriented, organised and service-minded, you help secure timely deliveries, support cost-efficient purchasing and contribute to smooth operations across the organisation.
