THE ROLE

CEEZER is a platform for CO2 compensation and high-tech removal credits with access to >8,000 climate projects worldwide, verified by globally recognized registries. Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing them to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.

Our People Manager, Mona, is looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and driven People Intern.

As a People Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on the full employee lifecycle and participate in actively shaping our People vision at CEEZER. You will play a vital part in building and maintaining a collaborative high-performance environment where CEEZERs thrive.
YOUR TASKS
  • Support recruitment processes by screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and supporting active sourcing, with the potential of taking ownership of the full recruitment cycle for other internship positions (depending on performance, availability, and experience)
  • Assist in the onboarding of our new joiners, to ensure a smooth and welcoming start at CEEZER, and drive improvements in the processes
  • Play an active role in our people operations, from contract creation to process documentation and beyond.
  • Research regulations and best practices for a compliant, forward-thinking, and best-in-class People strategy
  • Support and own initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, such as organizing events, creating employer branding content, or supporting our career growth framework development
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Approaching the final steps of your academic (bachelor/master) career in business administration, HR, or a similar field with excellent results
  • Previous internship experience in startups, or another high-performance environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail
  • Quickly adaptable to changing priorities in an evolving business environment
  • Strong willingness to go the extra mile without shying away from tasks that simply need to get done
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and German is a plus)
  • Valid German work permit
  • Starting date in August for 5 or 6 months, in Berlin (in-office)
