About Boldr
At Boldr we are on a mission to eliminate fossil fuels from the energy grid. To do this we are building the largest residential power plant in the US that will provide peak capacity to the grid at a moment's notice. Our beachhead is in connecting and controlling residential HVAC systems through partnerships with HVAC installers.
Our team is made up of repeat founders, engineers, and experienced operators. We are on a mission to connect 1M homes in the next 4 years and build the largest distribution network through HVAC contractors. Having successfully launched in the US we are now ready to establish Boldr as an industry and household name. To do this we are looking for an ambitious sales leader with a strong knowledge of the HVAC market to join us in reaching our mission. This is an opportunity to work directly with the exec team and be a key player in realizing the vision of the company.
Responsibilities
Work with the leadership team to establish an 18-month growth plan to deliver against
Input into sales KPIs and go-to-market playbooks
Own the GTM process for acquiring and converting leads in California and beyond
Build, deliver, and coach a product training process
Hire and mentor a high-performance sales team
Own Sales Metrics & Reporting for the B2B Sales team
Work closely with COO and Head of Marketing on iterating and improving the GTM process
Feedback partner feedback to product teams
Requirements
Experience selling physical products into the HVAC market - with software sales as a bonus
Ability to create simple training processes for hardware and software
Knowledge of the residential HVAC space or distribution in the HVAC space
Previous management experience and proven ability to build high-performance teams
Track record of exceeding sales goals and metrics
Managing deal flow from lead generation to closing using CRM

Ability to work independently and without day-to-day guidance
Deep knowledge of either the residential HVAC market or the Manufacturer Sales Representative Market with industry contacts
Clear communicator and the ability to formulate an argument based on data
