About the company

Biorce is a pioneering Healthtech company dedicated to revolutionizing drug development through the power of AI. We are passionate about accelerating medical advancements and improving patient outcomes.

Our team comprises seasoned clinical research professionals, data scientists, and AI experts, working collaboratively to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world clinical needs.

With an unwavering commitment to revolutionize healthcare, we envision a world where all patients benefit from accelerated and cost-effective access to treatments. Biorce is poised to redefine the landscape of healthcare, shaping a future where innovation and accessibility converge for the betterment of humanity.

About the role

Biorce is building the AI intelligence layer for clinical development.

The life sciences industry does not suffer from a lack of data. Pharma companies, biotechs and CROs have decades of clinical, operational, regulatory, site, patient and commercial data. The chThe successful candidate will be equally comfoallenge is that much of that information remains fragmented across systems, vendors, functions and formats, limiting its ability to drive decisions and power AI at scale.

We are looking for a Director of Data Services to build and lead the commercialisation of Biorce's data capabilities globally.

This is not a data engineering role and it is not a product management role. It is a sales role.

Reporting directly to Chief Commercial Officer, you will work directly with senior executives across Pharma, Biotech and CRO organisations to identify where their existing data can be transformed into an intelligence asset, connect those opportunities to the Aika ecosystem, and structure and close strategic data engagements.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable discussing clinical development with a Head of Clinical Operations, data architecture with a Chief Data Officer, AI strategy with a CIO, and business value with an executive leadership team.

What You Will Sell

You will commercialise Biorce's data capabilities around a simple proposition:

Connect the data. Structure the knowledge. Activate the intelligence.

Rather than creating another isolated data repository, Biorce helps customers make fragmented clinical-development data usable by AI and operational decision-making.

The opportunities may include:

  • Data strategy and gap assessment: understanding what data exists, where it sits, what is missing and which high-value use cases it can enable.
  • Clinical data integration: connecting data across CTMS, EDC, eTMF, RBQM, feasibility, site, patient, regulatory, safety, laboratory and other clinical systems.
  • Data harmonisation and semantic structuring: creating the foundations that allow information from different systems and formats to be understood and used consistently.
  • Digital protocol and structured clinical knowledge: connecting protocol intelligence with downstream clinical and operational data.
  • Historical data activation: turning years of previously underutilised clinical and operational data into reusable intelligence.
  • AI-ready data foundations: preparing enterprise data to power agentic AI and decision-support workflows.
  • Data-powered intelligence and benchmarking: enabling customers to derive insights across studies, sites, countries, indications, patients, timelines, costs and operational performance.
  • Biorce/Aika data integration: combining customers' proprietary data with Biorce's clinical-development intelligence and AI capabilities.

What You Will Do

You will own the global commercial development of Data Services at Biorce, working alongside regional commercial teams, enterprise account executives, Product, Data, AI and Solutions teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and execute the global commercial strategy for Biorce Data Services across Pharma, Biotech and CRO customers.
  • Create pipeline and personally originate, develop and close strategic data opportunities.
  • Engage C-level and senior stakeholders including Chief Data Officers, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Data Science and Digital/AI.
  • Run executive-level discovery to understand a customer's data landscape, business problems and AI ambitions.
  • Move conversations away from “Where is your data stored?” toward “What decisions and workflows could this data transform?”
  • Identify high-value use cases and translate them into clearly defined commercial engagements.
  • Build business cases connecting data investments to measurable outcomes such as study timelines, productivity, quality, cost, feasibility performance and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with Biorce technical teams to develop data assessments, integration strategies, solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
  • Structure commercial proposals covering assessments, implementation, integration, recurring services and platform/data capabilities.
  • Navigate complex enterprise procurement, security, privacy, data governance and legal discussions.
  • Negotiate and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise agreements.
  • Develop repeatable Data Services propositions that can be deployed across multiple customers and market segments.
  • Enable the wider Biorce commercial organisation to recognise and qualify data opportunities within their accounts.
  • Feed customer requirements and market intelligence back into Biorce's Data and Product strategy.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines enterprise sales capability with genuine credibility in life sciences data.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences technology, clinical data, data/analytics, AI, clinical development technology or related enterprise solutions.
  • A strong track record selling complex enterprise solutions into Pharma, Biotech and/or CRO organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience personally originating and closing multi-million-dollar strategic opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical-development data ecosystem, ideally including CTMS, EDC, eTMF, RBQM, clinical data management, operational data, regulatory data and/or real-world data.
  • Experience selling data platforms, data services, analytics, AI, interoperability or data-transformation programmes.
  • Ability to engage credibly with both technical and business executives.
  • Understanding of modern data architectures, APIs, cloud environments, data lakes/warehouses and semantic data models — without needing to be the engineer implementing them.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, security and regulatory considerations in life sciences.
  • Strong discovery and consultative-selling skills.
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into a compelling commercial and financial business case.
  • Experience navigating long, complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple functions and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate globally and travel regularly to customers.

The Profile That Will Thrive at Biorce

We are not looking for someone who waits for an RFP describing a data project.

We want someone who can walk into a global Pharma or CRO, understand how its clinical-development data is fragmented across the organisation, and uncover opportunities the customer may not yet have defined.

They should be able to move naturally between:

Clinical problem to Data problem to Intelligence opportunity to Business value to Commercial agreement.

They need enough technical depth to earn the trust of a Chief Data Officer and enough commercial instinct to turn that conversation into revenue.

They should be comfortable selling something larger than a predefined software module: a strategic transformation in how an organisation connects its data and uses it to drive clinical development.

Compensation range

  • New York: $150,000 - $220,000 gross annually*
  • US: $150,000 - $220,000 gross annually*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
