About the role

As the Academy Performance Lead, you will be the structural backbone of execution quality across our commercial organization. Sitting within the Global Sales Academy, your mission is to treat our sales pipeline—from initial SDR outreach to final AE demos—like a high-performance engine that requires constant monitoring, calibration, and optimization.

You aren't just auditing for compliance; you are looking at the data to find out why deals are won or lost. You will finalize our evaluation rubrics, build data-driven scorecards, analyze outbound sequences, and provide surgical, data-backed coaching to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs). You will work hand-in-hand with our Academy Leader, turning your QA insights into macro-level training programs that elevate the entire global team.

Who We´re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, RevOps, Sales Enablement, or a high-performing Sales Lead/Manager role within a B2B SaaS or fast-growing commercial environment. Direct experience building QA frameworks or scorecards is highly preferred.
  • The "Coach & Auditor" Mindset: A rare combination of a data-driven, analytical operational thinker and an empathetic, effective coach who can deliver constructive feedback without making reps defensive.
  • Deep Sales Fluency: You know what a great discovery call, a tight product demo, and a compelling outbound sequence look like. You understand sales psychological triggers and modern qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, BANT).
  • Tech Stack Proficiency: Deep familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/HubSpot), Sales Engagement Platforms (Outreach/Salesloft), and Conversational Intelligence software (Gong/Chorus).
  • Framework Thinker: Highly organized and capable of turning subjective human conversations into objective, measurable data points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Framework & Scorecard Architecture: Take ownership of foundational evaluation rubrics and scorecards. Refine, build, and scale quantitative frameworks to score SDR outreach (emails, cold calls, LinkedIn) and AE execution (prep, discovery, pitching, demo delivery).
  • Pipeline & Call Auditing: Conduct systematic, objective audits of live and recorded calls, demo presentations, and outbound messaging sequences using conversational intelligence tools (e.g., Gong, Chorus) and CRM data.
  • Targeted Micro-Coaching: Deliver high-impact, 1-on-1 tactical coaching sessions to SDRs and AEs based on scorecard performance, helping them bridge specific skill gaps to hit their quotas.
  • Data Analysis & Revenue Insights: Analyze QA data trends across teams and regions. Identify systemic bottlenecks in the sales cycle (e.g., “60% of AEs fail to properly uncover pain during the first 10 minutes of discovery”) and translate them into actionable intelligence.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience within a sales organization.
  • Background in sales learning and development, sales enablement, commercial training, or SaaS sales management.
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
  • Experience coaching or managing SDRs, BDRs, or early-career sales professionals.
  • Experience using KPIs and performance data to improve results.
  • Ability to deliver call coaching, role plays, mock discovery sessions, and demo training.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence providing direct, actionable feedback.
  • Willingness to work from Biorce’s Midtown Manhattan office 3-4 days per week.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience building or scaling an SDR Academy or graduate sales program.
  • Previous experience developing SDRs into Account Executives.
  • Experience carrying an individual sales quota.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up.
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or clinical technology.
