About the role
Following our successful expansion into the U.S. and continued growth across Europe, we are seeking an HR Generalist to help drive our People function from our Austin hub.
Reporting directly to our Senior HR Manager, this person will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations of a fast-growing, international scale-up, working hands-on with employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience who enjoys being close to the business and wants to grow into a strong People Ops profile while having real impact. You will work closely with the HR Manager and leadership team, helping build scalable People processes as Biorce grows.
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for a hands-on HR professional with solid generalist foundations and a proactive, people-first mindset. Someone with experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, coordinating payroll, and navigating multi-country setups. This person should be able to act as a trusted point of contact for employees while helping scale our People processes, documentation, and culture as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full employee lifecycle across multiple countries (onboarding, probation follow-ups, contract changes, offboarding) and manage related employment documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and act as a point of contact with payroll providers, external advisors, and benefits administration.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, ensure compliance with local labor regulations, and assist with HR documentation, audits, and reporting.
- Be a trusted first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Support performance review cycles, goal-setting, feedback, and development follow-ups.
- Help improve People processes, documentation, and automation over time.
- Ensure employee data is accurate and up to date in HR systems and internal tools.
Requirements
✅ Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Ops, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience coordinating payroll and working with external providers.
- Familiarity with U.S. labor regulations.
- Comfortable working with HRIS and digital tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with willingness to learn and grow.
- Fluent in English (daily working language).
