About the role
We’re hiring a Strategic Communications Manager to build and scale Biorce’s communications engine, internally and externally. You’ll own our messaging architecture, media readiness, executive preparation (with a special focus on the commercial team), and day-to-day press coordination. You’ll manage a small team, and work closely with Clinical Solutions, Executive Leadership, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
External communications & PR
- Define and maintain the company messaging framework (corporate, product/Aika, customer value, proof points).
- Build and run the press office: narratives, media list, outreach, embargoes, press releases, FAQs, bylines, op-eds, and briefings.
- Media readiness: design and deliver spokesperson training; create briefing docs, talking points and Q&As for announcements, launches and issues.
- Executive prep for the commercial team: sales meeting decks, objection-handling narratives, “story packs,” and talk tracks for customer meetings and conferences.
- Thought leadership: plan and pitch speaking slots, awards, and bylines; manage a rolling editorial and PR calendar aligned with GTM.
- Support product communications for Aika launches/roadmap with clear value messaging and proof (case studies, customer quotes, metrics).
- Crisis & issues comms: define playbooks, escalation paths, and holding statements.
Internal communications
- Build an internal comms rhythm (monthly all-hands packs, leadership notes, win/news digests) to keep teams aligned across offices.
Content leadership & channels
- Lead a small comms/content team (Content Specialist and potential Podcast Producer). Set goals, review work, and coach for quality.
- Oversee podcast strategy and production (guest pipeline, host prep, episode briefs, distribution).
- Maintain editorial standards and voice across website, LinkedIn, newsletters, sales collateral, and event materials.
Measurement & operations
- Define KPIs (share of voice, message pull-through, tier-1 mentions, speaking/awards secured, newsroom velocity, enablement usage).
- Build lightweight reporting for leadership (monthly/quarterly) with insights and next actions.
- Manage vendor/agency relationships (PR, studios, freelancers) and budget.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-have
- 5–8 years in strategic communications / PR (in-house or agency) for B2B tech or health/life sciences.
- Proven experience owning messaging, writing executive-level narratives, and preparing spokespeople for media and stages.
- Demonstrated press relations: crafting pitches, securing coverage, and handling fast turnarounds.
- Strong partnership with Commercial/Sales teams - comfortable translating product value into sharp talk tracks and proof.
- Hands-on stage & pitch coaching for the field: designs and runs structured rehearsals, sharpens narrative and slides, coaches presence and Q&A, builds demo scripts/runbooks (incl. “no-fail” backup plans), practices objection handling, and raises performance for on-stage, virtual, and 1:1 prospect demos.
- Excellent written and verbal English - bold, crisp, persuasive writing.
Nice-to-have
- Background in clinical research, pharma/biotech, or regulated B2B SaaS.
- Experience launching/producing a podcast.
Who Thrives Here
- Strategic storytellers who love clarity, speed, and impact over noise.
- Operators who enjoy building structures (calendars, playbooks, templates) and then scaling them.
- Team leaders who give clear feedback and raise the bar.
- Curious minds comfortable with AI and complex scientific topics.
Why Join Us?
- You’ll enjoy our standard Biorce perks: private health coverage, gym membership, hybrid work, modern pet-friendly office, snacks & beverages, company events, and MacBook, plus a dynamic, international environment.
