Job Description:

BeZero is looking for a Developer Engagement Associate to join our Developer Engagement team. In this role, you’ll help the team in building and maintaining strong relationships with people developing carbon projects (project developers). You'll be the main point of contact for project developers connecting with BeZero. You will work closely with the Developer Engagement Manager to help guide project developers through our ratings process and provide them with the rating once it has been published on our platform. We deeply value relationships with project developers and we share our analysis with developers to drive transparency in the market. Initially, you’ll follow established processes for developer engagement, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time and build relationships within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships: You'll connect with project developers and build strong relationships with them.

• Provide support: You'll guide developers through our ratings process, helping them understand our rating methodology and process.

• Collaborate: You'll work closely with our internal teams (like our Carbon Rating Scientists and Ratings Operations team) to ensure the successful delivery of project ratings.

• Learn and grow: You'll begin by familiarizing yourself with our current processes, and as you grow, we'll encourage you to take on increasing responsibilities.

• Create: You’ll assist broader engagement activities such as newsletters, events and conferences.
  
  Our ideal candidate will:

• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Have strong time-management, project management and organisational skills.

• Demonstrate a strong ability to adhere to processes and guidelines while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing or client engagement role is a plus but not essential.

• Having an understanding of the carbon markets is a plus, but not essential.

• Be fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
