Job Objective and Overview
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of the textile business, including contract management, client interfacing, and end-to-end supply chain coordination. The role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and operational understanding of the textile value chain.

Responsibilities:
1. Contract Management
o Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
o Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk mitigation standards o Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and obligations
2. Client Management & Front-End Engagement
o Act as the primary commercial point of contact for key clients
o Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
o Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
o Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction
3. Commercial Strategy & Execution
o Develop pricing strategies, cost structures, and commercial proposals
o Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
o Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability margins
4. Supply Chain Understanding & Coordination
o Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams
o Ensure alignment between client requirements and supply chain capabilities
o Monitor order lifecycle from sourcing to delivery
o Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain
o Implement quality control procedures to inspect and evaluate apparel samples and production batches, ensuring compliance with design specifications, fit requirements, and quality standards.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal
o Support business development initiatives and new client acquisition
o Provide commercial insights for strategic decision-making
6. Risk & Compliance Management
o Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
o Ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual compliance
o Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
Skills/Requirements:
o Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
o Experience: 8–15 years in commercial roles within the textile/apparel industry
o Strong experience in contract negotiation and client management
o Solid understanding of the textile supply chain (sourcing, manufacturing, logistics)
o Proven ability to handle large accounts and complex deals
