Position Brief:

Treasury Head, responsible for managing the company's financial resources, liquidity, and risks for all textile units in Benin region.

Key Responsibilities

• Liquidity & Cash Management: Overseeing cash positions to ensure the company can meet its funds obligations including ensuring proper banking structure for capital and working capital funding. This includes implementing cash pooling, netting, and in-house structures to maximize efficiency.
• Capital Markets & Funding: Designing the capital structure and leading debt/equity fundraising efforts. Being the primary point of contact for all banking, financial institutions, rating agencies and investment banks.
• Financial Risk Management (FX & Interest Rates): Identifying and mitigating risks from currency fluctuations and interest rate volatility through complex hedging strategies (using swaps, forwards, and options).
• Banking Relationships: Managing the company's network of banking partners to optimize service fees and ensure the availability of credit facilities.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensuring all global treasury activities comply with local Benin regulations and internal controls.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in corporate treasury or finance.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a company operating in Benin or the wider West Africa region.
• Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CFA, or CPA/CA are highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in SAP (particularly treasury and finance modules).
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
