Reporting To: Finance head

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the full set of books of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets) through coordination with Finance Head.
• Assist in monthly closure and Variance analysis
• Prepare Yearly financial statements under SYSOHADA
• Ensure that Payments are done in timely fashion.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
• Manage tax filings (VAT, payroll taxes, corporate tax) in line with local regulations
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls
• Handle accounting entries and reporting within SAP ERP
• Support management with financial insights and reporting

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of SYSCOHADA accounting standards
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (FI/CO preferred)
• Proven experience in handling end-to-end accounting independently.
• Working knowledge of English
• Experience in multinational companies or audit firms preferred.
