Job Title: PHE Engineer

Location: KIP, Tanzania

Experience: 10–12 years

Nationality: Tanzanian

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Sanitation Engineering (master’s preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction & execution of water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, STP, WTP, and ETP works.
• Review and validate PHE designs/drawings prepared by consultants for constructability and compliance.
• Prepare/verify BOQs, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams for smooth execution.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of PHE systems.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong construction execution background in PHE works.
• Expertise in design/drawing validation and compliance with standards.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD & PHE software (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS preferred).
• Knowledge of international codes (AWWA, ASTM, BS/EN, WHO).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Background

• Experience in industrial parks, large-scale infrastructure, or township projects.
• Hands-on execution + design validation exposure.
