We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales - Assistant Manager to expand our footprint in the Indian market for sawn timber and plywood. This role requires a sales professional with strong industry connections, product knowledge, and the ability to independently manage client relationships and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in sawn timber and plywood segments
  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, dealers, and key accounts
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Coordinate with internal supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings as needed

Desired Profile:

  • 4–5 years of B2B/B2C sales experience in timber, plywood, or allied building materials
  • Strong understanding of timber products, especially in South and North India markets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to travel across regions as per business needs

Preferred Qualification:

  • Graduate from the Forest Research Institute (FRI) or related academic background in forestry/wood sciences will be a strong plus
