About the Role:
We’re looking for a star collaborator to lead the delivery of high-impact project support for Altruistiq’s enterprise customers, giving them the embedded expertise to maximise the power of the Altruistiq platform and achieve their sustainability objectives.
As the Programme Manager for Environmental Footprinting you will lead a dedicated team and own the delivery tailored, high-touch environmental footprinting projects, designed to meet the unique sustainability priorities of the world’s largest companies. As a multifaceted subject matter and platform expert, you will own project management, hands-on support with in-platform activities and analysis, and advisory on complex environmental accounting topics.
In this role, you will:
- Guide Customers as a Trusted Advisor: Build close relationships with customer stakeholders, and act as a partner to help them achieve specific sustainability goals (e.g., getting to their first completed corporate footprint) with the support of a dedicated project team.
- Provide High-Touch Project Management: Ensure smooth and transparent progress through bespoke project management over defined engagement periods: scoping project milestones and timelines, running a custom cadence of touch-points, and maintaining up-to-date project collateral and status updates.
- Embed Within Customer Teams: For the duration of each project, operate as an integral part of the customer’s team, communicating and aligning with their internal structures and workflows to ensure effective project execution.
- Help Customers Maximise the Power of the AQ Platform: Manage and perform specialised activities within the Altruistiq platform, including management of data sources, progress tracking, custom dashboard analytics & disclosure, and decarbonisation initiatives.
- Find Innovative Solutions for Customer Challenges: Advise and support on complex carbon accounting issues and estimation methods. Use first-principles problem solving, market research and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate customers’ strategic aims (e.g. decarbonisation lever identification).
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally for Maximum Impact: Work closely with Altruistiq’s internal teams—including Customer Success, Product and Sales—to incorporate insights and feedback into project planning, enhancing both the customer experience and Altruistiq’s service offerings.
- Shape How We Deliver Services: Collaborate closely with the Sustainability Services Lead to incorporate learnings from project delivery, define best practices and continuously iterate on our service offerings and ways of working, to maximise the impact and value for customers.
About You:
We envisage the following skills and experiences would serve you well in this role:
Sustainability and Data Expertise
- 3+ years in sustainability roles, ideally with experience in emissions accounting or related fields, including customer-facing project work.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with familiarity in data management, cleaning, and sustainability reporting practices.
- Ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data sets and provide tailored, data-driven recommendations that support customer goals.
Project Management and Problem-Solving Excellence
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, with an organised and detail-oriented approach to the timely delivery of high-quality outputs
- Exceptional process management, with dedication to the setup and maintenance of robust delivery and collaboration processes
- Inquisitive, structured and rigorous approach to problem solving, including gathering and analysing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations

- Skilled in cultivating relationships with senior and junior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and communicating with structure and energy in high-stakes settings.
- Excellent written and verbal English (which is the primary language of communication within Altruistiq).
